Fabric / Duct Expansion Joints
Fabric (non-metallic) expansion joints are flexible connectors for air, flue gas, and low-pressure process ducts, designed to absorb thermal growth, vibration, and misalignment while providing reliable sealing in rectangular or circular ducting. Athulya supplies single-layer and multi-layer belt constructions with insulation pillows, backing bars, and clamping frames engineered to suit service conditions and layout constraints.
Key Features
• Handles axial and lateral movements; excellent vibration isolation on fans/blowers.
• Custom belt constructions: PTFE/fluoropolymer, silicone/glass, EPDM, neoprene, and composite stacks.
• Insulation pillows and flow liners to manage temperature and gas velocity/particulate.
• Supplied for rectangular or circular ducts; frames with backing bars & clamp bars.
• Gas-tight sealing with appropriate edge finishes and splice designs.
• Optional external covers for weather/UV; control units where restraint is specified.
